Orders & Products
Q: Are all Talush Art pieces handmade?
A: Yes. Every piece is designed and handcrafted in our studio. Slight variations in color, texture, or shape are part of the character of handmade work and make each item unique.
Q: Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
A: Your piece will be created in the same style, palette, and proportions as the photos, but small variations may appear due to the nature of handcrafted work and natural materials. We see these as part of the charm of owning something one-of-a-kind.
Q: Do you offer custom or personalized pieces?
A: In many cases, yes. For selected sculptures, wall art, and items from The Paper Atelier, we can customize color palettes, sizes, or text. Please contact us at [support email] with what you have in mind, and we’ll let you know what’s possible and the estimated price and timeline.
Q: I’m buying a gift. Can you include a note?
A: Absolutely. At checkout, you can add your message in the “Order notes” section. We’ll include a handwritten or printed note in the parcel, and we never show prices on the packing slip.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
A: Your order has two stages: processing in our studio and transit with the courier.
- Processing time: 3-5 business days
- Delivery time:
- Domestic: approximately 3-5 business days after dispatch
- International: approximately 3-8 business days after dispatch
You’ll receive tracking as soon as your parcel leaves the studio.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we currently ship to most of Europe, North America, and additional destinations worldwide. If your location doesn’t appear at checkout, email us at tal@dekkers.net and we’ll confirm if we can ship to you.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping fees depend on your location and the size/weight of your order. The exact cost will be shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
Q: Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
A: For international orders, your local customs office may charge additional fees, duties, or taxes. These are not included in our prices or shipping fees and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking local regulations if you’re unsure.
Tracking & Delivery Issues
Q: How do I track my order?
A: Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can click it anytime to see the latest updates from the courier.
Q: My tracking hasn’t updated in a few days. What should I do?
A: Tracking updates can sometimes pause during customs processing or courier delays. If there is no movement for more than 5 business days, please contact us at tal@dekkers.net with your order number and we’ll help follow up with the carrier.
Q: My parcel arrived damaged. What now?
A: We’re so sorry if this happens. Please email tal@dekkers.net within 2 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging (inner and outer)
We’ll review your case and arrange a suitable solution.
Returns & Cancellations
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: We accept returns for eligible items within 5 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. Some items (such as custom or personalized pieces) may be final sale. For full details, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Q: How do I start a return?
A: Email tal@dekkers.net with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. We’ll reply with return instructions, including the return address and any applicable conditions.
Q: Are shipping fees refundable?
A: In most cases, original shipping fees are not refundable, unless we made an error or the item arrived damaged or faulty.
Q: Can I cancel or change my order?
A: If you need to update your order or shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at tal@dekkers.net. If your order hasn’t been processed or shipped yet, we’ll do our best to accommodate changes. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to make modifications.
Care & Materials
Q: How do I care for my piece?
A: Care instructions vary by product. Many items can be gently dusted with a soft, dry cloth and kept away from direct sunlight and moisture. For detailed care guidance, please refer to the product description on the piece you purchased, or email us your order number and we’ll be happy to advise.
Q: Are your materials eco-conscious?
A: We thoughtfully source materials and packaging wherever possible, aiming for a balance between durability and a lighter footprint. This may include recyclable packaging / responsibly sourced paper / etc.
